With the Summer season almost over, we look back at recent events and preview some exciting things on the program for our indoor Winter season (starting after the school holidays).
2016 Winter Presentation
Congratulations to all our swimmers who have been presented with awards and certificates for the 2016 Winter season. Well done!
Swimming Carnival Champs
Big congratulations are in order to ALL the swimmers who have competed at their school swimming carnivals! Many great results have been reported, along with many of our swimmers going on to compete at zone and district events. Well done all of you!
Bring a Friend to Club
Early in the Winter season we’re planning a “Bring a Friend’ night at club. Keep your eye out for the date when you can invite a special friend to come along and join in the Friday night fun at club!
Club Targeted Meets
There will be more information posted on upcoming meets as soon as the Winter season gets underway. Below you will find entry links and information about two of the early meets, which tend to fill up quickly and close when the allocated entries are reached (especially KPD, which is run as a combined Development/Qualifying meet):
- Aquaburn – Normanhurst – program link
- KPD – Short Course Development/Qualifying Meet – CVSA meet information page
Gosford Stingrays AGM will be held on the 5th May at 5:30 pm. This is on a Friday before club so we hope to see as many members as possible attend 🙂 This is an opportunity for you to get involved and be part of steering our family friendly club towards new and exciting horizons.
Club Nights and Upcoming Summer Championships
Part of the charm and delight of our outdoor Summer season is being in the ‘elements’ and this Summer has certainly seen it all! Our Friday club nights have been visited by an entourage of thunder storms, torrential rain, gusting winds – and a bit of sunshine thrown in for good measure. 🙂
Club Summer Championships will be held on Friday 7th April. Make sure to get your entries in by Wednesday 5th April!
See you at club 🙂
