Stingrays swimmers were given a real treat before club last Friday:
Catriona Croghan, a professional sports physiotherapist from Woollongong, conducted a hands-on training session covering land-based stretches and injury prevention. The swimmers were taken through a a set of exercises designed to help improve general range and balance.
The session began on the grass with colourful towels spread out … then, the rain came down, in buckets! Catriona, professional and positive as she is, was undeterred and moved the group under cover (the Grandstand), where she continued the training session.
Stingrays Swimming Club would like to extend a warm and big thank you to Catriona for her engaging and most informative training session!
Swimmers, make sure you keep those stretches going 🙂
Titans Qualifying LC Meet 14 November
Titans Swimming Club hosted the qualifying carnival at Mingara on Saturday, where 8 Stingrays swimmers turned up to compete.
It was a good day in the pool, despite that not many PBs were broken. Well done everyone on your efforts and outstanding Stingrays enthusiasm – onwards and upwards!
See you at club 🙂
